Amman, Oct. 11 (Petra) -Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) on
Sunday warned against heavy rainfall, lightning, and thunder across
Jordan’s southern and eastern regions due to atmospheric instability.
In its latest update, the JMD said latest satellite imagery revealed
thunderclouds moving over southern Jordan, including northern Aqaba,
Shobak, Tafilah, Karak, Ma’an, Mafraq, southern Amman, and parts of
Zarqa.
The JMD also urged Jordanians in affected areas to remain cautious as
unstable weather conditions persist.
