Saudi Arabia’s Voluntary Carbon Market Fuels the Shift to a Low-Carbon
Amman, Oct. 11 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of
Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ayman Safadi held a phone call on
Sunday with Saudi Foreign Minister, His Highness Prince Faisal bin
Farhan Al Saud.
During the call, Safadi affirmed Jordan’s condemnation of the
terrorist attack carried out by the Houthi militia against King
Khalid International Airport in Riyadh on Saturday, as well as its
assaults on civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia.
Safadi denounced these attacks as a flagrant violation of
international law and a brutal aggression against the sovereignty,
security, and stability of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, as well as
the safety of its citizens and residents.
Safadi emphasized Jordan’s “absolute” solidarity with Saudi Arabia
and its “full” support for all measures taken to confront these
attacks.
He conveyed Jordan’s condolences over the attack’s victims on King
Khalid International Airport, wishing the injured a speedy recovery.
In turn, Prince Faisal offered condolences over the death of the
Jordanian citizen, who was killed in the aggression against the
airport.
Safadi thanked the Saudi authorities for the comprehensive care
provided to the Jordanian citizens injured in the Houthi militia’s
brutal attack on the airport.
Additionally, the two ministers discussed regional developments
within the framework of ongoing bilateral coordination and
consultation.
