Mild Wednesday Weather, Chance of Showers in Northeastern Badia

Amman, Oct. 21 (Petra) — Pleasant autumn weather will prevail across
most of Jordan on Wednesday, with brief, light showers possible in
parts of the northeastern Badia around midday, potentially
accompanied by thunder, the Jordan Meteorological Department said.

Moderate conditions will persist in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea
and Aqaba, while clouds at varying altitudes are expected across the
country.

Northeasterly winds will be moderate, occasionally picking up and
raising dust, particularly in desert areas.

The department warned of reduced visibility due to dust, especially
across the Badia, and urged motorists to exercise caution on roads
affected by rainfall in northeastern desert areas.

Wednesday’s highs are forecast at 26 degrees Celsius in East Amman
and 23 C in West Amman, compared with 22 C in the northern highlands,
21 C in the Sharah highlands, 25 C across the plains and 28 C in the
Badia.

Temperatures will reach 33 C in both the northern and southern Jordan
Valley, 32 C at the Dead Sea and 30 C in Aqaba.

A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Thursday, bringing
pleasant weather to the high mountain areas and moderate autumn
conditions elsewhere.

Low clouds will appear in some areas, while moderate easterly winds
may become active at times, stirring dust, particularly across the
Badia.

Moderate autumn weather will continue on Friday and Saturday, with
relatively hot conditions in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and
Aqaba.

Medium- and high-level clouds are expected, accompanied by moderate
southeasterly winds.
