Beirut, June 17 (Petra) – Two people were killed Wednesday morning in
Israeli artillery shelling of the town of Habboush in the Nabatieh
district of South Lebanon, a Lebanese security source said.
It also said Israeli war jets and drones struck the towns of
Ansariyeh and Nabatieh al-Fouqa, the locality of al-Zafata
al-Mansoura near Kafr Tibnit and Ali al-Taher heights.
It said Israeli warplanes and Apache helicopters constantly overflew
the area around Beaufort Castle and carried out mock raids across the
Iqlim Al-Tuffah district.
The source added that the districts of Nabatieh, Jezzine and
Marjayoun saw one of their worst tense and terrifying nights since
the outbreak of the war amid the ongoing Israeli escalation.
