Ramallah, June 22 (Petra) – Israeli occupation forces shot and killed
two young Palestinians and seriously wounded another early Monday in
the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron in the southern West Bank,
the Palestinian Health Ministry said.
It said Issa Awad, 19, and Reda Awad, 15, were fatally shot by
soldiers near the settlement of Karmei Tzur, built on
Palestinian-owned land. Troops held the bodies and prevented
ambulance crews from reaching the site, leaving them to bleed to
death, it said.
Another Palestinian, also a resident of Beit Ummar, was wounded by
soldiers, and paramedics transported him to a hospital, where he was
reported in a serious condition.
