21st National Press Grand Prix: MAP Wins Three Awards

The honorary prize paid posthumous tribute to the agency’s former news director, the late Abdelkrim El Mouss, who distinguished himself as a talented journalist at MAP news agency, holding the position of sub-editor and various editorial functions, before taking up the position of central editor, then news director.

In the Agency Press category, the prize was awarded to journalist Abdelhakim Khirane for his article entitled “Mounia Zmamou: the Wind blows as the innovation wishes”.

Maghreb Arab Press Agency also won the photography prize for the first time, in the person of photojournalist Boujemaa Zidi for his photo report on the efforts made by the Royal Armed Forces to rescue the victims of the Al Haouz earthquake.
