Beirut, June 1 (Petra) — Six people were killed on Monday in Israeli
air strikes on several towns in southern Lebanon, according to a
Lebanese security source.
It said two people died when a drone struck their vehicle this
morning in the southern town of Buriqa. A young Syrian man was also
killed in a raid on the vicinity of a hospital in the town of Toul in
Nabatieh al-Fawqa, while overnight raids on the town of Kafr Sir left
3 people dead, the source said.
Israeli drones also overflew Beirut’s southern suburbs, amid an
escalating displacement and traffic congestion after the Israeli army
ordered evacuations before bombing targets in the suburb.
The source said military aircraft and drones carried out 21 raids
since the morning on Nabatieh district, while artillery shelling and
an explosion were recorded in Dibbin town.
