Kyiv, July 30 (QNA) – Ukrainian authorities announced that six people were killed and eight others injured today in a Russian missile attack targeting the outskirts of Kryvyi Rih, a city in central Ukraine.

Head of the Kryvyi Rih military administration Oleksandr Vilkul said via Telegram that a village on the outskirts of the city was directly hit by a ballistic missile launched from the Voronezh region of Russia. The attack destroyed a house, killing six people, including two children, and injuring eight others.

Vilkul added that rescue teams are continuing their emergency operations to remove rubble and search for survivors, warning that the death toll could rise.

The Russian-Ukrainian war has witnessed a significant escalation recently, with both countries continuing to exchange attacks on vital facilities and infrastructure. Both sides issue near-daily statements regarding military operations, including announcements of downed drones and casualties, without any independent investigation. (QNA)
