Buenos Aires, July 30 (QNA) – Seven people were killed Thursday when a firefighting helicopter crashed in western Argentina.
Local authorities stated that the victims included members of the fire department, police, and civil protection services. The helicopter was en route to La Rioja Province in the northeast of the country to assist in containing a forest fire.
Authorities lost contact this morning with the Bell 412 training helicopter while it was flying over the Ischigualasto Provincial Park, located approximately 1,200 kilometers from Buenos Aires. (QNA)
