Athens, August 25 (QNA) – The Greek coast guard rescued 85 migrants off the southern coast of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea.
Greek authorities said on Tuesday that the migrants had been traveling in two inflatable boats, which were spotted by a drone operated by the European Border and Coast Guard Agency (Frontex). The rescue took place off the coast of Kali Limenes, south of the island.
All 85 migrants were brought to the port of Kali Limenes, where they will undergo registration and identity verification. (QNA)
