Tunis, June 25 (Petra) — The General Secretariat of the Arab
Interior Ministers Council (AIMC) condemned recent Iranian attacks
targeting Kuwait and Bahrain, saying the strikes “posed a serious
threat to regional security.”

In a statement issued Thursday, the AIMC said it had received “with
the utmost condemnation and denunciation” reports of an Iranian
attack involving missiles and drones that targeted vital civilian
facilities in Kuwait, including Kuwait International Airport,
resulting in deaths, injuries, and material damage. It also cited
missile and drone attacks on civilian sites in Bahrain.

The AIMC said the attacks constituted a “flagrant violation” and a
dangerous escalation that threatens the security of both countries
and the wider region. It reaffirmed its full solidarity with Kuwait,
Bahrain, and all Arab states, and expressed support for all measures
they take to protect their security, sovereignty, territorial
integrity, citizens, and residents.
