Amman, June 17 (Petra) — The Jordan Armed Forces dispatched a
10-truck supply convoy carrying specialized medicines, medical
supplies, and prosthetic equipment to the two Jordanian field
hospitals in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday.
The convoy was sent in implementation of royal directives to boost
the capabilities of both field hospitals, enabling them to continue
providing medical, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to
patients amid the difficult humanitarian conditions in the Gaza
Strip.
The force commander of the Jordanian Field Hospital Southern Gaza/10
said the convoy included specialized pharmaceuticals, medical
consumables, and prosthetic equipment. He added that the deployment
of the convoy followed an assessment of the actual needs of the
medical sector in Gaza to support treatment and rehabilitation
services for the injured and sick.
The Jordanian Armed Forces affirmed their commitment to continuing
their humanitarian and medical mission for the Palestinian people by
supplying the field hospitals with their requirements to ensure the
sustainability of healthcare services.
The two Jordanian field hospitals in northern and southern Gaza
continue to provide medical and humanitarian services around the
clock as part of ongoing Jordanian efforts to alleviate the suffering
of the Palestinian population.
