Amman, June 9 (Petra) — Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE)
reached JD 24.8 million on Tuesday, as 6.9 million shares were traded
through 7,015 transactions.
The ASE general index closed at 3,977 points, down 0.36 percent,
compared with the previous session.
As for sector-based performance, the industrial and services indexes
fell by 2.24% and 0.35%, respectively, while the financial index
rose by 0.24 percent.
Of the 100 companies traded, 28 closed higher, while 42 declined,
compared with their latest closing prices.
