Amman, June 10 (Petra) — The Amman Stock Exchange’s (ASE) general
index on Wednesday fell 1.24% to close at 3,927 points.
Total trading volume reached JD22.6 million, as 6.2 million shares
were traded through 6,561 transactions.
On performance, the industrial sector dropped steeply by 4.23%, while
the services and financial sectors fell by 1.11% and 0.39%,
respectively.
Of the 104 companies whose shares were traded, 19 posted gains, while
54 went down, compared with their previous closing prices.
