Amman, June 17 (Petra) — Total trading value on the Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) reached JD16.3 million on Wednesday, as 6.4 million
shares were traded through 5,208 transactions.
The ASE general share price index closed at 3,969 points, down 1.26
percent.
The services sector recorded the largest decline, falling 2.08%,
while the the industrial and financial sectors dropped 1.77% and
0.63%, respectively.
Of the 88 companies whose shares were traded, 15 posted gains, while
49 went down, compared with their previous closing prices.
