Amman, June 24 (Petra) — Total trading volume of Amman Stock
Exchange (ASE) on Wednesday reached JD16.5 million, as 4.5 million
shares traded through 4,900 transactions.
The general index of share prices declined to 3,844 points, down 1.43
percent, compared with the last session.
Compared with previous closing prices, out of 88 ASE-listed
companies, 14 recorded gains, while 44 went down.
At the sector level, the services and industrial indexes declined
1.96% and 1.45%, respectively, while the financial benchmark dropped
1.07%.
