Amman, July 5 (Petra) — Total turnover on the Amman Stock (ASE)
Exchange reached JD9.3 million on Sunday, as 4.8 million shares
traded in 3,724 transactions.
The ASE general share price index closed at 3,851 points, up 1.18%
from the previous session.
At the sector level, the industrial index recorded the largest gain
at 3.86%, while the services and financial benchmarks rose by 1.59%
and 0.17%, respectively.
Of the 96 companies whose shares traded during the session, 44 went
up, 25 closed lower, and the remaining 27 stayed unchanged.
