Amman, March 9 (Petra) — The trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) stood at JD 4.8 million on Monday, with 1.4 million shares changing hands through 1,719 transactions.
The index closed at 3,619 points, down 0.24 percent from previous closings.
Sectoral performance was mixed, with the services index declining 0.37 percent, the financial index down 0.30 percent, while the industrial index rose 0.17 percent.
Of the 86 companies, 22 posted gains, 31 recorded losses, compared to previous closings and the rest were flat.
