Hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by Omani Hockey Association during 12-18 July, the tournament features closely matched technical levels and intense competition among the participating teams.The tournament sees the participation of five Asian teams, namely Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Hong Kong. The competition follows a single-round league system, with the top two teams advancing to the final to determine the champion and runner-up, while the third- and fourth-placed teams compete for the third position.Results from matches played so far have seen Bangladesh defeat Hong Kong (6–0), Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan play to a 1–1 draw, and Hong Kong secure a 2–1 victory over Pakistan.
