China Maintains Contact with Oman to De-escalate Iran-Israel TensionsBeijing, 19 Jun (ONA) —— The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that the ongoing escalation between Iran and Israel is having a detrimental impact on regional peace and stability. Beijing confirmed it is maintaining close communication with the Sultanate of Oman as well as both conflict parties to facilitate rapid de-escalation and prevent further deterioration of the situation.The Ministry’s Spokesperson Lin Jian stated that Israel’s actions violate international law and the norms governing international relations, while also infringing upon Iran’s sovereignty and security and undermining regional peace and stability.
