Doha, April 12 (QNA) – Al Shamal coach David Prats and Qatar SC coach Marquez Lopez spoke to the media ahead of their 2025-2026 Doha Bank Stars League Week 17 postponed match slated for Monday.
“We are expecting a tough match against a very good team with top-level players who have delivered outstanding performances throughout the season. Therefore, we have great respect for our opponents and hope to achieve our objective,” Prats said at the pre-match press conference.
“We will play with one goal in mind: to win and secure the three points to maintain our chances in the competition,” he added.
“We are looking to make up for the loss we suffered in our last match against Al Shahania. We have worked over the past few days to correct any mistakes in order to avoid them in the upcoming match. Al Shamal have had an exceptional season and aim to finish the championship in the best possible way,” said Prats.
For his part, Qatar SC coach said: “We have an important and difficult match ahead of us against Al Shamal, and we are looking forward to give our best to secure the victory and claim the three points.”
He went on saying “We must exert maximum effort to achieve the best possible results in the league. We only have two matches before the end of the season, which requires complete focus and performing at our best in both games.” (QNA)
