Dollar Continues to Decline for Second Day against Major CurrenciesTokyo, 21 May (ONA) — The US dollar today fell, extending a two-day slide against major peers.
The dollar declined 0.55% to 143.715 yen, and slipped 0.67% to 0.8222 Swiss franc.
The euro rose 0.42% to $1.1332, while sterling added 0.3% to $1.34315.
The dollar index, which measures the US currency against those four peers and two other rivals, slumped 0.38% to 99.59, extending a 1.3% two-day decline.— Ends/Khalid
