Five-Year Plan Executive Committee Holds Fourth Meeting
Muscat,
18 Sep (ONA) — The Executive Committee for the preparation of the Eleventh
Five-Year Plan (2026-2030), which serves as the second executive plan for Oman
Vision 2040, held its fourth meeting today at the Ministry of Economy
headquarters.
The
meeting was chaired by Dr. Nasser Rashid Al Maawali, Undersecretary of the
Ministry of Economy, with committee members in attendance.
The
meeting reviewed the current implementation status and the progress made, and
it also discussed the upcoming steps for the plan before its approval and
implementation in early 2026.
The
committee addressed the efforts of the plan’s management team and the central
technical teams—comprising 14 teams with 281 members from over 100 public,
private, and civil society organizations—and the progress achieved in preparing
the plan.
The
meeting underscored the importance of the next phase and the necessity of
continuing efforts to finalize the review of strategic programs and to enhance
the engagement of the community and relevant stakeholders.
