European Stock Markets Open Mixed

Brussels, June 19 (QNA) – European stock markets opened trading on Friday with mixed performance as investors awaited developments in global markets and assessed the impact of falling oil prices and the direction of US monetary policy.
Among the major European markets, the French CAC 40 index in Paris rose by 0.18 percent, while the German DAX index in Frankfurt climbed by 0.16 percent.
The British FTSE 100 index in London fell by 0.12 percent amid continued political uncertainty in the United Kingdom. (QNA)
