France’s CAC 40 rose 0.61% to close at 8,666.63 points, surpassing its previous record high of 8,620.93 points, set on Feb. 26, 2026.
Germany’s DAX gained 0.77% to close at 26,202.35 points, setting a new record high after reaching a record level in the previous session.
Italy’s FTSE MIB posted the strongest gains, rising 1.26% to close at 53,540.50 points, surpassing its previous record set on July 6. Spain’s IBEX 35 advanced 0.21% to close at 20,023.60 points, also reaching a new record high, while Britain’s FTSE 100 added 0.20%. (QNA)
