‘Exceptional and Sustainable’: Spanish Academic Hails Morocco-UAE Partnership

According to the Spanish law professor at the Rey Juan Carlos University, this partnership aims to promote progress and prosperity in various regions of Morocco.

Uriarte Sánchez told MAP that the signing of 12 memoranda across different fields during this “successful visit” will undoubtedly hasten the economic and social development program for the years 2024-2029. This development program is geared towards fostering comprehensive, harmonious, and integrated progress throughout the country.

He further highlighted that the Royal Visit to the United Arab Emirates will significantly bolster bilateral relations and set the stage for a comprehensive model of economic cooperation and investment between the two countries.

This collaboration, according to him, is approached with a pragmatic and concrete perspective and it stems from a historic partnership founded on active solidarity and a commitment to mutually beneficial collaboration.

Uriarte Sánchez added that this partnership involves significant infrastructure projects in transportation and the tourism sector. Describing the memoranda signed between the two countries as “unprecedented agreements of a new generation,” he emphasized the unique, multidimensional nature of this renewed strategic partnership, covering diverse areas with potential beneficial multiplier effects, especially in the Afro-Atlantic space.

HM King Mohammed VI's visit to the United Arab Emirates and His meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan have established the groundwork for an "exceptional and sustainable" partnership, said Spanish academic Carlos Uriarte Sánchez.
