Expat Remittances Rise 3% to $889M in Q1 2025-CBJ

Amman, May 15 (Petra) – Jordanian expatriates’ remittances increased by 5.2 percent in March 2025, reaching $283.4 million, according to data released by the Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ).

The CBJ figures also showed a 3 percent rise in remittances during the first quarter of 2025, totaling $889 million.

The increase reflects “continued” financial support from Jordanians abroad, which plays a “key” role in supporting the Kingdom’s economy.
