Amman, July 15 (Petra) – Firefighting teams from the Civil Defence
Directorate, supported by the police, extinguished a fire on
Wednesday that broke out in a two-story building and an adjacent
hangar used as a warehouse for car parts in the Al Quwaysimah in East
Amman.
The Public Security Directorate (PSD) said that the fire affected an
area of approximately 850 square meters. Firefighters brought the
blaze under control and fully extinguished it, preventing it from
spreading further.
The PSD media spokesperson confirmed that no injuries were reported.
Dozens of Civil Defence vehicles and a large number of personnel were
deployed to contain the fire.
An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the
incident.
