Muscat,
16 Sep (ONA) — Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a
phone call today from Yvette Cooper, Secretary of State for Foreign,
Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom (UK).
During
the call, they reviewed the historic and strategic bilateral relations between
the Sultanate of Oman and the United Kingdom, and ways to enhance them in
various fields to serve the common interests of both countries.
The
two ministers also exchanged views on several regional and international issues
of mutual concern, foremost among them the developments in Palestine,
particularly the ongoing tragedies in the Gaza Strip resulting from the war
waged by Israel and its encroachment on the sovereignty of countries in the
region.

framework for peace, facilitating the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid,
