Saudi Arabia’s Voluntary Carbon Market Fuels the Shift to a Low-Carbon
Amman, Oct. 6 (Petra) — Four people were killed and three others
injured on Tuesday evening when a refrigerated truck crashed into a
car and caught fire on the Aqaba back road, according to a statement
by the Public Security Directorate (PSD).
A PSD spokesperson stated that civil defense and police teams in
Aqaba responded to the accident, in which the overturned refrigerated
truck landed on the passenger vehicle, causing both vehicles to burst
into flames.
The crash resulted in four fatalities, with one victim suffering
severe burns, while three others sustained injuries across various
parts of their bodies.
Civil Defense personnel extinguished the blaze and extricated the
deceased, transferring their bodies to Prince Hashem Military
Hospital. Traffic authorities have launched an investigation to
determine the cause of the accident.
