Amman, June 1 (Petra) – The Public Corporation for Housing and Urban
Development (HUDC) has granted serviced residential plots to 70
beneficiaries in the Princess Iman 6 Suburb project in Sahab,
coinciding with the Kingdom’s 80th Independence Day celebrations.
It also said 80 other residential plots are available across several
projects in various governorates.
A total of 1,707 submitted applications for the project, which were
reviewed by specialized committees, and seventy of these, from both
the public and private sectors, were selected based on their scores,
the corporation told Petra on Monday.
The plots were allocated according to a usufruct system with
facilitated financing terms, it added.
HUDC Director General Jumana Atiyat said the announcement aims to
expand citizens’ homeownership opportunities and support development
and construction across the Kingdom.
