Amman, June 2 (Petra) – The Housing and Urban Development Corporation
has announced on Tuesday the availability of residential, commercial,
and light industrial plots for sale through a sealed bid auction
across several housing projects in the governorates of Amman, Zarqa,
Mafraq, Irbid, and Jerash.
The corporation said the offered plots include residential and
commercial land in the Abu Nseir Housing Project (Phase 7, Basin 10,
Asahi al-Faqir) and Abu Nseir Housing Project (Phase 8, Basin 10,
Asahi al-Faqir), as well as residential plots in the Mubs Housing
Project (1+5, Basin 2, Western Slopes) and mixed residential and
commercial plots in the Amman Housing Project (2, Basin 1, Awais).
Additional offerings include commercial plots in the Abu Alanda (1)
and Abu Alanda (2) projects in Basin 27 (Manatir), residential plots
in the Tabarbour (2) Housing Project (Basin 4, Umm al-Aqareb),
Zaytouna (2) Housing Project (Basin 2, Dufayna), and the new Marka
expansion project (Basin 1, Hanu al-Kassar).
In Zarqa Governorate, the corporation is offering light industrial
plots within the Jabal Tariq Housing Project and the new Zarqa
Housing Project, both located in Basin 13 (Wadi al-Hajar), in
addition to residential plots in the Prince Hashim and Teachers’
Housing Project in Basin 3 (Rajm al-Jaysh).
In Mafraq Governorate, the offerings include residential plots in the
Eidoun (1) Housing Project (Basin 3, Rajm Abu Falaha) and the Subha
and Subhiya Housing Project (Basin 5, Baghdad Line), as well as
commercial plots in the Mafraq expansion project (Basin 1, East
Mafraq).
In Irbid Governorate, the corporation is offering residential plots
in the al-Na’imah Housing Project (Basin 29, Hatim), commercial plots
in the al-Badr–al-Hisn Housing Project (Basin 34, Batam Janoubi),
residential plots in the al-Deera al-Hindawi Housing Project (Basin
62, Wadi al-Hindawi), and commercial plots in the Kafryouba Housing
Project (Basin 5, Street).
In Jerash Governorate, residential plots are available in the Bayader
Ajramah (1) and Bayader Ajramah (2) Housing Projects in Basin 3
(Bayader Ajramah).
The corporation invited interested buyers to visit its headquarters
in Jabal Amman/Third Circle starting Tuesday, June 2, 2026, to submit
applications and pay a cash deposit of 2% of the minimum auction
price, with a minimum of 1,000 Jordanian dinars, in cash or via
certified bank check payable to the applicant.
It said applicants must submit their purchase application, security
check or receipt, and a copy of a valid national identification card
in a sealed auction envelope to be placed in the designated box. The
deadline for submission is 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
The corporation added that applicants wishing to purchase more than
one plot must submit separate applications for each, while joint
applications are permitted provided all required documentation and
deposits are submitted.
It also urged prospective buyers to review the regulations related to
the plots and infrastructure services at the Real Estate Directorate
and to inspect the land thoroughly before submitting applications,
noting that bids will be considered binding in their current
condition.
