Amman, June 2 (Petra) — Public Security Directorate (PSD) Chief Maj.
Gen. Obeidallah Maaytah instructed Director of the Correction and
Rehabilitation Centers Department to screen Jordan national team’s
World Cup matches inside correctional and rehabilitation facilities.
In a statement, the PSD said this decision will allow inmates to
follow the national sporting event and stream other tournament
matches.
The directive comes within the framework of the PSD’s reform and
rehabilitation policy, aimed at promoting inmates’ integration and
enabling them to participate in national occasions, alongside other
segments of Jordanian society.
