Irbid, Jan. 22 (Petra) – Greater Irbid Municipality (GIM) warned 396 businesses during last December, according to Director of Health and Environmental Affairs Department, Yahia Omari.
In statements to “Petra” Wednesday, Omari noted the municipality issued health violations against 120 establishments, while a total of 697 field visits were made during the same month.
The department, he noted, dealt with 17 complaints, as 19 establishments and individuals were referred to the governor to take legal and administrative action for their violations, while the number of professional license lists stood at 77.
Additionally, he stated the department continues to intensify its inspection campaigns through its health and market teams.
