airstrikes across areas in the Nabatieh and Tyre districts of
southern Lebanon, killing five people and injuring several others.
A Lebanese security source reported that dozens of destructive
airstrikes targeted southern villages, coinciding with heavy
artillery shelling on several towns in the Western Beqaa region.
The source also noted that the Israeli military released two Lebanese
citizens who had been abducted yesterday from the border town of
Kfarchouba.
