Beirut, June 24 (Petra) – An Israeli drone strike killed two people
on Wednesday near Kafr Rumman in South Lebanon’s Nabatieh district, a
Lebanese security source said.
The source also told Petra’s Beirut correspondent that an Israeli
patrol raided Ain Arab in the Rachaya district of western Bekaa,
ordering local people to evacuate by evening or face the destruction
of their homes.
He said residents recently returned to their homes after displacement
during the war, following the Lebanese army’s reopening of the
Marjayoun–Ain Arab road, which was previously blocked by Israeli
earth mounds.
