Gaza, March 28 (QNA) – Two Palestinian brothers were martyred and several others were wounded, some critically, in Israeli military attacks in Gaza City on Saturday.
The Palestinian news agency (WAFA), citing medical sources, reported that the two brothers were shot dead by Israeli occupation forces east of Gaza City. Several others were injured when Israeli military vehicles opened fire on residential homes in the Al-Shamaa area of the Old City.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out artillery shelling and tank fire targeting the eastern neighborhoods of Al-Zeitoun, Shuja’iyya, and Al-Tuffah in Gaza City.
According to medical sources, the death toll since the ceasefire in Gaza last October has risen to 692, with more than 1,880 injured. A total of 756 bodies have also been recovered. (QNA)
