Ramallah, June 2 (Petra) — Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday
launched a large-scale arrest campaign across several governorates in
the occupied West Bank, arresting 31 Palestinians, including four
female students from Birzeit University and several recently released
prisoners.

According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, the arrests were carried
out during simultaneous raids on multiple areas of the occupied West
Bank. Israeli forces reportedly stormed and searched dozens of homes,
ransacking their contents and arrested individuals they claimed were
wanted.

In a separate development, Israeli authorities demolished three homes
in the Arab village of Kabul in the Galilee region in northern
Israel, citing the absence of building permits.

The Higher Follow-Up Committee for Arab Citizens in Israel said
Israeli bulldozers and engineering vehicles, accompanied by large
numbers of police and border guards, entered the village and carried
out the demolitions.

Meanwhile, extremist Israeli settlers torched two Palestinian
vehicles and spray-painted racist slogans during a predawn raid on
the village of Umm Safa, northwest of Ramallah.

The Umm Safa Village Council said a group of settlers infiltrated the
village centre, setting fire to a vehicle belonging to council head
Marwan Sabah and another owned by a local resident.

The illegal settlers spray-painted racist graffiti on several homes
before leaving the area.
