Amman, June 17 (Petra) — The Jordan Football Association (JFA) on
Wednesday unveiled the national team’s starting lineup for its
opening match against Austria at the FIFA World Cup 2026, marking
Jordan’s historic debut at the global tournament.
Jordan begin their World Cup campaign with a starting XI comprising
goalkeeper Yazeed Abu Laila, defenders Ehsan Haddad, Abdullah Naseeb,
Yazan Al Arab and Mohammad Abu Al Nadi, midfielders Muhannad Abu
Taha, Nizar Al Rashdan and Noor Al Rawabdeh, and forwards Mousa Al
Taamari, Odeh Al Fakhouri and Ali Olwan.
The substitutes are Abdullah Al Fakhouri, Noor Bani Atiyah, Saad Al
Rawashdeh, Saleem Obeid, Hossam Abu Al Dhahab, Mohammad Abu Ghosh,
Mohammad Abu Hashish, Anas Badawi, Rajaei Ayed, Amer Jamous, Mohammad
Al Dawood, Ibrahim Saadeh, Mahmoud Mardi, Ali Azayzeh and Mohammad
Abu Zreiq.
