Amman, July 14 (QNA) – Jordan condemned the Iranian attack targeting two oil tankers belonging to the United Arab Emirates as they transited the Strait of Hormuz.
In a statement on Tuesday, Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attack constituted a flagrant violation of international law and a dangerous escalation that threatened the security and safety of maritime navigation. The ministry stressed Jordan’s condemnation and denunciation of the attack.
The statement expressed Jordan’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and affirmed its support for all steps the country takes to protect its sovereignty, security and the safety of its citizens. (QNA)
