Amman, Sept. 22 (Petra) – Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Saleh Kharabsheh and visiting Egyptian Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi on Monday discussed ways to boost bilateral cooperation in the energy field.
The meeting at the ministry addressed prospects to expand cooperation in natural gas and renewable energy projects, stressing the importance of exchanging technical expertise to enhance energy security and serve the interests of the two countries.
The ministers visited the Energos Force floating storage and regasification vessel in Aqaba in August to check on operations and its role in supporting energy security at the national and regional levels.
Badawi’s visit to Jordan is part of the close relations between the two countries and coordination on issues of mutual interest, particularly in the energy sector.
