Amman, Aug. 20 (Petra) – Temperatures across the Kingdom will remain near seasonal averages on Wednesday, with typical summer conditions prevailing in most regions, according to the Jordan Meteorological Department.
The weather will be hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, Aqaba, and desert areas, while moderate northwesterly winds will occasionally pick up, stirring dust in parts of the eastern desert.
Similar conditions are expected to persist through Saturday, with no significant deviations from the usual mid-August climate pattern.
Daytime highs in Amman will reach around 32 C in the east of the capital and 30 C in the west, dropping to 19 C and 17 C overnight, respectively. Temperatures will climb to 40–41 C in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, while desert highs will reach 38 C.
