Amman, Sept. 22 (Petra) – Minister of Water and Irrigation Raed Abu Saud on Monday discussed with Hungarian Ambassador Peter Jakab prospects of closer cooperation in the water sector.
The minister reviewed water challenges facing Jordan and opportunities for joint work in water management, reducing waste, and executing strategic projects.
He expressed an interest in building effective cooperation with Hungarian friends in the water domain, stressing the importance of global coordination to address water challenges through modern technologies and the exchange of expertise.
The Hungarian envoy, accompanied by Deputy Head of Mission Attila Svitak, noted Jordan’s water sector efforts, adding that his country is interested in cementing cooperation, particularly with regard to climate change, training, and knowledge sharing.
