Amman, Jan. 19 (Petra) – The Jordan Pharmacists Association (JPA) has launched a new humanitarian campaign under the slogan “Warmth from Heart to Heart,” aimed at collecting donations to purchase winter essentials for children in Gaza, amidst the harsh conditions the region is enduring.
The campaign comes in response to Royal directives emphasizing the importance of extending a helping hand to Gaza’s people. It will be implemented in coordination with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO).
In a statement on Sunday, JPA President Mohammad Ababneh affirmed that the donations collected will contribute to providing essential support for children in Gaza who are suffering from the winter cold and the destruction of their homes and facilities due to the Israeli occupation’s aggression.
Ababneh called on pharmaceutical warehouses, companies, and pharmacists to provide financial support to ensure the success of the campaign and alleviate the suffering of children in Gaza. He noted that coordination and participation in the campaign can be facilitated through the JPA’s designated WhatsApp number: (0795736343).
He explained that donations can be made through several channels, including direct cash contributions at the JPA’s headquarters in the Professional Associations Complex or via its subcommittees located across governorates. Donations can also be sent via the “CliQ” service using the alias: (JPA1957) or through bank transfers to the JPA’s account at the Jordan Islamic Bank – Shmeisani branch with the account number: (JO80JIBA0020000025134410400015) and SWIFT code: (JIBAJOAMA115).
