Amman, May 15 (Petra) — The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the ongoing developments in the State of Libya.
Ministry spokesperson Ambassador Sufian Qudah reaffirmed Jordan’s full support for the security and stability of Libya. He stressed the importance of de-escalating tensions in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, and preserving the unity and resources of the Libyan people.
Qudah also confirmed that all Jordanian citizens residing or currently present in Libya are safe. He urged Jordanians in Libya to exercise caution, avoid areas of conflict, and remain in contact with the Jordanian Embassy in Tunisia and the ministry’s Operations Center for assistance.
