Jordanian Airspace, Airports Operating Normally, Aviation Chief Says

Amman, June 8 (Petra) — Jordan’s airspace and airports remain fully
operational despite ongoing regional developments, Chairman of the
Board of Commissioners of the Jordanian Civil Aviation Regulatory
Commission (CARC), Captain Daifallah Al-Farajat, said on Monday.

Al-Farajat said the commission is continuously monitoring the
regional situation and coordinating closely with the relevant
authorities to ensure the safety of air navigation and the smooth
operation of Jordan’s airports.

He urged passengers to check with their airlines before heading to
the airport to review flight schedules and confirm departure times,
noting that current regional developments could affect some flights.

Al-Farajat said the commission has implemented all necessary
precautionary measures to safeguard passengers, flight crews and
aircraft, adding that Jordanian airspace continues to operate in
accordance with the highest international aviation safety standards.
