Jordanian compete in 2026 Esports World Cup

Amman, July 8 (Petra) – Jordan is taking part in the Esports World
Cup 2026 in Paris with three professional players representing clubs
in one of the most prominent international competitions.

The tournament, which runs from July 6 to August 23, features over
2,000 players representing 200 clubs from over 100 countries,
competing across 25 tournaments for a record-breaking prize pool of
over $75 million, according to a press release by the Ministry of
Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship.

The Jordanians are: Ammar Al-Assaf with the Team Falcons in the Dota
2 competition, Yazan Al-Sawaris with the GK Esports team with Mobile
Legends, and Mohammad Al-Addasi in the PUBG Mobile World Cup.

The ministry said Jordan’s participation in the global championship
reflects a rapid development of national talents in Esports and their
ability to compete internationally.
