Amman, Aug. 17 (Petra) – The Jordanian Field Hospital Gaza/83 on Sunday commenced offering medical and therapeutic services across all specialties, as part of the Kingdom’s continued support to bolster the health system in the Gaza Strip amid the difficult circumstances caused by the ongoing Israeli war.
The hospital’s force commander detailed that immediately upon arrival at the mission site, medical staff began setting up clinics and equipping them with the necessary medical devices to begin operations. The facility comprises clinics in general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedics, dentistry, pediatrics, pre-operative evaluation, and internal medicine, ensuring the provision of comprehensive and specialized medical services tailored to the needs of the population.
Residents of the Gaza Strip voiced deep appreciation for Jordan’s continued efforts, led by His Majesty King Abdullah II, highlighting the ongoing medical and humanitarian assistance delivered through airdrops and ground convoys, which play a vital role in alleviating their suffering under the Israeli war.
