Amman, August 04 (QNA) – Jordanian Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met Tuesday with UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Turk during his visit to Amman.
Safadi and Turk discussed the evolving situation in the region, the fallout of the unfolding escalation, and the efforts bent toward ending it and restoring placation, as well as achieving enduring security and stability.
In addition, both sides addressed avenues for strengthening the ongoing cooperation between Jordan and the UN agency. (QNA)
