Muscat, January 8 (Petra) — The Ministry of Information in Oman organised a media meeting on Wednesday titled “Oman and the World,” with the participation of media professionals and journalists to mark the Sultanate of Oman’s celebration of the day His Majesty Sultan Qaboos ascended to the throne.
A Jordanian media delegation is participating in the event, led by Zaid Nawaisa, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Government Communication, Fairouz Mobaideen, Director-General of the Jordan News Agency, and Ibrahim Buwarid, Director-General of the Jordan Radio and Television Corporation.
The meeting aims to highlight Oman’s contributions to international peace and security and efforts to promote the message of peace on global issues. It focuses on the development of Oman’s heritage, tourism and real estate, the country’s investment opportunities and social protection system.
